Kentucky: Land Of Functional Illiterates and Deadbeats

Functional illiterates in the sense that Kentucky has about 20 percent of its population which is considered by its own state officials as functionally illiterate. People who are incapable of filling out a job application, performing basic tasks, having problems doing basic math, writing and understanding logic.

Sure we could say that its going to be coal or alcoholic beverages or automobile parts which you can find those statistics on what is Kentucky’s biggest export products. However, I would have to say that a lot of people end up leaving Kentucky and moving to other states and end up taxing our states social welfare programs. Especially social welfare programs that should be meant for people who are physically and severely mentally disabled and not for people that refused to get an education in school and learning basic tasks to get along in life.

That is the real problem with Kentucky is that a high percentage of Kentucky residents are on the government dole and have been for generations. They want to blame the state government which does truly suck but its more than that and it involves the local communities in Kentucky producing next to nothing economically except people that end up going to the government office to apply for either a welfare check or a social security check when they are physically able to obtain a job and even mentally able if they are not lazy to get an education and move elsewhere.

They’ve had 80 plus years as a bottom tier state in Kentucky to make up their minds and improve education and finding people that want to achieve rather than sitting around collecting a government stipend every month. Instead, the state does little to attract paying jobs to rural communities in many places in Eastern Kentucky but also many other rural areas. So instead in order to sustain some level of social stability, these people are encouraged by local leaders to go sign up for government benefits including Social Security Disability and SSI that they really shouldn’t be entitled to since they are not physically disabled or suffering from a real mental issue.

That is the problem with Kentucky and the true nature of much of Kentucky society that its easier there than just about anywhere to get social disability assistance even though a high percentage of these people could work or at least work part time to help pay taxes and pay for their own upkeep. There’s no excuse when you could be getting an education and stop making excuses for the reason why you can’t pick up some books and take classes to better yourselves including trade school or whatever else you have to do. The Social Security Disability needs to go to people who really have legitimate disabilities and real physical problems not people who want a free ride because they refuse to pick up some tools and earn an honest days living. I was 18 years old and 3 days out of school and had my first full time job and within 2 weeks of that I was working in the automotive industry while also attending college. There is no excuse and only if you are physically maimed or disabled and instead they help out deadbeats that refuse to work anywhere.

The Violent Mentality of Kentuckians and Their Lowlife Nature: Another Pissed Kentuckian

At first over the years, I really tried to be polite to Kentuckians though I didn't understand their lack of common sense or the fact that so many Kentuckians are just chronically dense. I really tried to be polite to these people but after so many years of dealing with their chronic stupidity and ignorance, its long past time that I just call it like I see it. So one our Kentucky luminaries of course anonymously had to run his/her mouth like the ignoramuses from Kentucky so often do. So this is my response to the what I might call the Kentucky whiners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I've noted on countless occasions, Kentucky is one of the worst states in the country in most categories no matter what kind of metrics that you want to use. It's not a theory that Kentucky ranks 46th in the United States in personal per capita income. Not to mention 46th in median family income. Not to mention 20 percent of Kentuckians live in poverty and among youth its 25 percent.

That just conflicts with your little limited worldview. According to you and US News, you're saying that Kentucky is 42nd which isn't a middle tier state at all but again right at the bottom. What you inbred morons fail to realize is that your state is consistently near the bottom of the pack when it comes to incomes, education, health outcomes, etc. You're too stupid to realize that and I've consistently pointed out the facts, figures, and statistics that came from the Federal government, Wikipedia, the Federal Reserve, the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Which go into far great depth than your pay grade being the uneducated backwoods Kentuckians that many of you are.

Your state sucks in essence.

What I find so hilarious is to watch you whining nincompoops continue to try whine and complain about my postings. If they were so untrue, then you would be able to pick everything I said apart of which you cannot do so. The laughable part of this is that most of you morons probably spend all day getting pissed off in your little hovels in Kentucky because what I post comes from news sources within your own state including the Louisville Courier-Journal, Lexington Herald-Leader, Glasgow, Richmond, Ashland, Bowling Green and countless other Kentucky bumpkin villages that call themselves cities. Louisville and Lexington are definitely cities in the Commonwealth, the rest might as well be on the moon. That being said, your state regularly ranks at the bottom the United States rankings for education especially post secondary which is what really brings about economic prosperity in the country.

Anyone can hire a Kentucky moron for a job working at Wal Mart or McDonald's which is about the educational and pay grade that most of you exhibit on a daily basis. I will say though that I've had a few posters from Kentucky who ironically were educated in other states that were much, much more intellectually gifted than the average mouthy Kentucky denizen that posts here. The average Kentuckian truly is not very intelligent overall although there are exceptions to the average in any situation.

The truth is that probably half of the population of your state is in some form mentally challenged. It's obvious from even Kentucky based organizations and government that your citizens are often unlearned, uneducated as well as being functionally illiterate. Including the nearly 500,000 Kentucky residents who are considered functionally illiterate and incapable of doing basic menial tasks and work requirements. Which is why Kentucky has a huge population of non-disabled people on government assistance despite the fact that they've had years of government financing all kinds of social improvement projects and that Kentucky spends at least the average of $10,192 dollars per student. Yet despite all of this, Kentucky regularly has only about 54 percent of its population that is considered proficient at 12th grade reading, writing and English composition. Add in the fact that only 36 percent of Kentucky kids can graduate school being proficient in math and only 38 percent are proficient in science.

Those statistics pretty well measure up the intelligence of the average Kentuckian quite nicely. Those statistics also came from the Kentucky Department of Education which allegedly measures the academic achievements of all Kentuckians and their school systems. Of course, you wouldn't want to expound why Kentuckians are so chronically dumb and chronically lazy now would you? Which is why the Kentucky maggots have to either flag or threaten someone that is a whole hell of a lot smarter than they are. You know how that works don't you?

Oh and its not going to end badly for me because there's nothing you are going to do to stop me in my quest to continue to tell the truth about Kentucky so that finally enough people will realize that Kentucky is a chronically screwed up state that any non native would start thinking about either getting the hell out of or not moving there in the first place. See maggot, I can post anywhere I choose to because there are plenty of other avenues available via other media to rip your state to shreds.

I'm going to continue to call out your state and call out your general public for being morons. Especially in light of the increasingly moronic bullshit that you as Kentuckians think you can pull and that some of us won't call you out on it. Even more to that is that I'm going to continue to let people know around the country who are tuning into my posts and commentary that your state is nothing more than a pig sty. Of which a great deal of Americans know that Kentucky is at the bottom of all kinds of categories and only exceeded in generally shitty conditions by a few other Southern states such as West Virginia, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and others. At least those states in the far South have plenty of other nearby amenities than what Kentucky has.

The fact that Kentuckians get so forcefully and violently pissed off at anyone that makes comments about the wretched conditions that exist in The White Trash state says more about them than the people who made the comments. The hilarity of it is that Kentuckians are such thin skinned morons that they are incapable of handling any sort of criticism. Whether it be about economic and social conditions regarding their state or the corruption of Kentucky government which is one of the most corrupt state governments in the entire United States of America. A state who had previous governors end up going to jail as well as the fact that the entire Kentucky establishment back in 1991 was investigated for government corruption and several people were finally brought to justice. Kentucky is also a bankrupted and fiscally insolvent state that can't pay its pension obligations to its retirees and state employees.

So if your state is such a wonderful place, then do tell because being 46th or 47th in income depending on which metric you use doesn't sound terribly hot in light of the fact that since 1939 Kentucky has been 44th or worse in state per capita income. Not to mention the wretched state of Kentucky and its finances which are ranked as one of the worst ran states in the United States.

Even more telling is the massive numbers of native Kentuckians that have to leave their home state in order to find decent jobs and employment in other neighboring states and they end up staying there because they know what a total shithole state that Kentucky truly is.

You say its going to end badly for me but in fact you and the rest of the inbred mouth breathers of Kentucky are the ones ultimately that will lose out because I'm living far from Kentucky and I wouldn't move back to Kentucky if you gave me a 250,000 dollar house and a 100,000 dollar a year job to live in your wretched state and mouth breather infested society.

You like to mention that Kentucky didn't rank 50th on the list of best states. That's the Kentucky white trash mentality that you think you're actually better than those states at the bottom 7 or so but the truth is that you were only ranked a bit higher because of 2 or 3 metrics in that written piece by U.S. News. In most everything else, you were a bottom 5 or 6 state in just about every category.

I know it pisses you 70-90 IQ morons from Kentucky off that someone tears down your state but your state is literally and figuratively right there at the bottom of US states. No matter how much you want to tout a couple of random statistics that make your state look better than what it really is. Even your neighboring states and many of their citizens regularly poke fun at the stupidity of Kentuckians in general. In fact, you're a laughingstock to many people in states like Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and even Tennesseans think that many of the cretins from your state are nothing more than idiots.

I know a man who lived in Kentucky for decades as well as grew up in Tennessee and he had to leave Kentucky because he couldn't tolerate the stench of the white trash population of Kentucky not to mention that two of his wives were from Kentucky and he maybe in a less than objective manner saw what kind of white trash they turned out to be. This man was a esteemed member of the community and a high school principal so its not as if he was the problem. What's hilarious about Kentucky is that you hillbillies bitch and moan about stereotypes and people picking on you and your decrepit society.

What's rich is that you turn around and reinforce those very stereotypes that most of the rest of America has about Kentucky which is why not only in the Midwest but also the Plains, East, Northeast, and West you're considered ultimately the backwoods of America. Even your neighboring states to the North and South of you are not considered laughingstock states like Kentucky is and has been for decades. The truth is that when I moved back North in 2012 my new neighbors looked at my Kentucky plates and made some comments without knowing I was originally from the North.

Once I explained that I was transferred to the wretched shithole called Kentucky, they immediately understood that I was much closer in values and human decency to them than to the social outcasts, uneducated bumpkins and decrepit trailer trash mentality people that make up a good cross section of Kentucky society.

I've long had experiences with your society and your type of people and they were less than friendly and most Kentuckians are a fake sort of friendly. So can keep your notions of Kentucky values or Kentucky religious values and they are laughable at best and hypocritical at worst. Even among some of the more educated Kentuckians I've encountered in law, business, education and technology I've encountered plenty of people who could be accurately described as most of you clowns would be termed bubba types in suits and dresses. Sad but true no matter how far you can take some Kentuckians away from Appalachia and the backwoods mental state that exists in Kentucky, you'll still find that you can't the Appalachian mentality out of the majority of Kentucky residents. Even in the western sections of the state which resembles more of Illinois or Missouri than Eastern Kentucky, the mentality still exists on a wide swath of people including many people who can barely master rudimentary English.

As far as me having a meltdown, I'm going to be like a mule that keeps kicking you between the eyes and you can expect that there isn't going to be anything that your'e going to do about it. All of your horses asses and all of your men aren't going to make Kentucky whole again. The best thing for you idiots is to actually work on your society and start producing intelligent people that are reasoned and don't have to rely on a government crazy check to make their way in the world. Instead of producing countless generations of white trash morons that are getting chock full of Mountain Dew, hillbilly Heroin, prescription drugs, etc. Then again, its Kentucky and you like low quality people and low quality outcomes. Unless its basketball and eventually that's going to be shown to be farce and fraud. Then again, when your state has nothing to offer and really brag about, then I guess it really is that you have to brag about your basketball prowess. Only problem is that 80 to 90 percent of the UK and U of L basketball teams are from out of state and places that most of you hilljacks have never been nor could probably find on a map without someone showing you.

Its kind of like Kentucky and their xenophobia issues which isn't totally uncommon in rural states except that in Kentucky, you have to rely on Third World doctors from places like India, Pakistan, Africa, Southeast Asia and elsewhere for medical services in your backwoods counties because you don't have enough people that are intelligent enough to be trained to be doctors.

It's like a doctor I knew from Louisville that told me things that I knew were not true from personal experience but her education was from the backwoods of Kentucky in one of the towns in the mountains. When I questioned another doctor about this, he pointed out that she was totally wrong about her assessment. That's the type of geniuses that come out Kentucky. Which is why your state despite massive outlays of federal welfare programs and government assistance remains largely dependent on not only government but charity cases. Its also why your state remains as stupid and backwards as it does because instead of making your own way in the world through education, advancement and self sufficiency for those able bodied people. Your state remain a cesspool despite all of the federal handouts that have defined Kentucky for at least 50 years since the War On Poverty started.

Too bad Kentucky doesn't start a War on Stupidity but it prides itself in being the champion in the United States in the production of stupid people. All you have to do is spread your legs and another stupid Kentuckian pops out.

Another Kentucky Commenter (His Blathering and Stupidity Posted at the End of My Commentary)

I love it when Kentuckians regularly prove my points about Kentuckians being largely uneducated morons. Every time one of these backwoods morons open their mouth they prove that their state is nothing more than a big cesspool of illiteracy, ignorance, cultural stupidity, poverty, obesity, and mentally deficient individuals. One thing that I can always tell about many Kentuckians is that they can't spell basic English language words or produce coherent intelligent sentences. Just in the post of the resident moron there are at least 10 spelling mistakes and omissions that could have been corrected if the guy wanted to sound intelligent.

Actually, I'm very well wired to make social observations and emotional observations. One is that instead of trying to think you were making a point, you very well could have cleaned up your paragraph of illiteracy and stupidity before trying to make any relevant points. If you were worldly and educated then you would have been able to manufacture a coherent paragraph of some decent ideas and commentary. You do note that people in Kentucky are generally poorly educated but sorry these people are not in any way, shape or form like me. The only thing that we might have in common would be physical characteristics, appearances, white skins in most cases, etc. The funny thing is that you mention they were born and then something f###ed it up for them. No one is born totally aware but for generations of these people to be so mind blowing stupid isn't the fault of anyone else but themselves. No one messed their situation up other than the fact that they decided to be lazy and take the easy way out and refuse to bother with educating themselves over a wide variety of topics. Not my fault that they didn't receive instruction from their parental guardians until 18 years old and learn to develop themselves. Even more cute is the idea that adults like most of the morons are all victims of someone else despite the fact they've had years after the tender age of 18 to learn skills and develop as human beings.

Rather than listen to you, oh uneducated on and oh worldly one who cannot spell the term, I will continue to point out the discrepancies, propaganda, lies, and untruths that are regularly brought out. Unlike you, I won't make excuses for their issues and will continue to point out what I feel like pointing out.

Actually, I'm not disappointed in my time in the Ville outside of it being a learning experience in how not to run a metro area or city. Louisville leaves plenty to be desired even for a city of 780,000 people and its obvious that since I left, it hasn't improved any at all. In fact, it continues to swirl just above the water level of the toilet just before drowning. Especially with its stagnant economy, lousy schools, crime issues, budgetary issues, and the largely low quality and lazy population.

It sounds though that you might be the one who is truly nuts which seems to be appropriate for the Kentucky culture in which you were born. Which would explain why so many people in Louisville are on psychotropic medications for their mental problems. Not to mention that Kentucky has long had a problem with abuse of prescription medications which is another reason its population is comprised of hundreds of thousands of illiterates, functional illiterates, and mentally deranged people. In that case, you're just another block in the wall.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My observations of the Ky hater are as such;an elevated Intelligence Quotient has never ment you are socially capable of emotional observations.I am Worldy, educated, and born in Louisville.Yes ppl here are undereducated but They are people just like you.they were born and we're lil babies before someone ore something fucked it up for them.Stop trying to beat a dead horse and be grateful or sad u are not oblivious to the fact of the world. You seem nuts or very disappointed in ur time in the Ville just breath and move on....why do u expect ppl to know how to behave, even though they were never shown how...that's nuthin guy are you not nuts?White Trash Kentucky

Kentucky Education: Flat Out Broke, Insolvent and Low Quality (A Mirror Image Of The State)

http://www.kentucky.com/news/local/education/article197702634.html

Kentucky again proves its incompetence in educating its citizens and being the educational and economic failure that it has been for decades. The only problem is that once it continues down this path, it will be next to near impossible to repair the economic and educational damage that is being done to young minds. Kentucky is an insolvent and broke state because of decades of bad government, bad policies, crooked and corrupt politicians with a pension plan that is economically busted due to lack of investment and too many people double dipping for years along with very early retirements.

All the while, Kentucky continues to circle the toilet economically with their race to the bottom and more jobs with lower wages and requiring less training and education. Kentucky is rapidly becoming the Detroit of the South which I've stated before about Kentucky and especially cities such as Louisville. Louisville, KY is now the 11th poorest city in the United State of America and Kentucky is the 46th ranked state in personal income, family median income and other income measures. Meanwhile, it also ranks 47th in educational achievement, 41st in university quality as well as last place in elder abuse, child abuse and animal abuse. Add in the fact that Kentucky is economically bankrupt due to years of poorly directed state and local resources along with 450,000 functional illiterates out of a population of 4.4 million.

All this despite the fact that Kentucky remains rich in agricultural commodities, coal with a temperate and decent climate for growing crops and producing economic activity. However, Kentucky remains so backward that it will probably never recover from the massive budget cuts to education which is the key to improving the quality of life for Kentuckians. Why these neanderthals are allowed to run a state into the ground is a lesson in stupidity but the pain will be felt in Kentucky and probably other states dealing with Kentuckians fleeing Kentucky.

Even with some of the gains that have been made in Kentucky, it remains one of the five worst states in the United States along with Arkansas, Mississippi, West Virginia and Alabama. That's not saying much either as its country cousins in the Southern United States remain economic and social pariah states as well that require massive infusions of federal tax dollars. Especially to the point that nearly all Southern states receive more money from the federal government than what they pay in tax dollars.

Kentucky continues to be an economic basketcase despite the fact that it is far enough north to take the best practices of its often more successful northern neighbors. States that are in so many ways economically and educationally superior to Kentucky and have been for generations. Why Kentucky doesn't embrace that is beyond the most stupid thing ever but that's government in Kentucky where the people are kept clueless and willfully ignorant of the type of retrograde environment that they dwell in. Its obvious to this writer that Kentuckians willfully love and enjoy the shit and filth that they deal with on a daily basis.
White Trash Kentucky

Watching Upset Kentuckians Lose Their Minds Over Criticism of Their Commonwealth

White Trash Kentucky Just have to laugh at the upset Kentuckians that hate when I have my say and will say what is on my mind, they end up losing their minds and start making their ignorant statements about things they have no clue about. Which is why their state is in the dire fiscal and economic straits that it is in despite having relatively high taxes especially on personal income. To the point that Louisville, Kentucky is the 4th highest taxed city in the entire United States. You can probably guess the other three cities higher with some level of accuracy if you can read a map and know some place names.

The best part is watching the increasingly insane Kentuckians come totally unglued at what I have said and succinctly stated about Kentucky and how they assume they know something about me or my background. What a laughable proposition that these imbeciles think they know anything about me other than what I've readily stated. Obviously, they're not very smart to be incapable of coming up with facts and figures that refute the things I've readily posted over the past few years here.

Instead of facts, figures, and logic they often try to paint the messenger as being some sort of crazy or insane despite the fact that they are the ones who are increasingly incapable of dealing with reality. Even more screwy is their attempts to think I am going to melt down because some little piss ant from some third rate place in Kentucky thinks he's going to change my mind. Especially considering that it took me a few years to try to piece together what is truly wrong in Kentucky that keeps it being one of the worst states in the United States not only to make a good living but also taxes, fiscal insolvency, crappy educational systems, poverty, etc.

Kentuckians live in a little bubble in many cases because they haven't been outside the state enough to know better about the filth and human shit that they live in on a daily basis. Not all Kentucky locales are total steaming shitholes but a good percentage of them are and enough of them are is to make Kentucky a less than desirable place to live especially with the steaming pile of imbeciles and feckless morons that exist in that state. Even I must admit that there are a few zip codes in Kentucky which are worthy of someone wanting to live in but they are few and far between. Even in other states, the bad towns and cities and rural areas are usually few and far between or at least confined to major urban areas or a certain neighborhood. In Kentucky, that can be pretty much every other zip code to be populated by ignoramuses and people with low intellect and criminal intentions.

Kentuckians by and large are also thin skinned and small minded to the point that they cannot fathom with reasonably accuracy why someone wouldn't like their cesspool in the Ohio Valley. Imagine a state where a huge percentage of the population is economically incompetent and functionally illiterate and you've got Kentucky. Where the education system has been so bad for so long that even a decade ago or so, they still had hundreds of thousands of Kentucky residents that could not read. Despite being in school in most cases to the age of 16 or even 18 and they couldn't read. What was the school administrators thinking all these years to let countless generations of Kentuckians not be able to read and educate themselves?

That's the type of time warp and mentality that exists in Kentucky so if you're reading this from another state, do yourself a favor and don't move to Kentucky and don't let your family move to Kentucky because you are doing them a disservice. There are countless other states and locations in the fine country that the USA mostly still is that would offer a much better quality of life and better educational and economic experience than what Kentucky has to offer. Even retired people should heed warning about Kentucky and its increasingly poor quality of life. Including the fact, that Kentucky despite having Louisville and Lexington has a very poor quality of life outside those areas. Same with getting quality healthcare which is a concern for elderly patients and those in retirement status.

Many of the resident Kentuckians will not like this posting but that is just too bad. I'm not going anywhere and I don't even live in Kentucky but I'm going to tell you the truth about Kentucky from someone of upper middle class stature that knows plenty about what a horrible place that Kentucky truly is. You can do so much better than Kentucky both economically, socially, and income wise. Even the fact that land is relatively cheap there should definitely scare you away because anywhere that land is cheap is often lacking in various amenities or people that really want to live there. However, if you like dysfunctional state government, fiscally irresponsible government, poor schools, third rate education for your kids and grandkids, lower incomes, criminal problems from low intellect people and government corruption then Kentucky would be for you.

Kentuckians are largely oblivious to the problems that afflict their state because they've been dumbed down for generations to the point that they have no reference point to deal with when it comes to comparing other places that they have lived or visited. All because outside of short vacation times to Florida or Texas or elsewhere most Kentuckians have no clue about other places nor are they often smart enough to consult Wikipedia, Google, or their encyclopedias and other governmental resources to do research about other states. They are often intellectually and emotionally lazy when it comes to learning about other cultures, societies, and how life works in the other 49 states along with the 190 plus countries of the world. So instead, they'll focus on their personal opinions that Kentucky is the best state in the country based on something meaningless like basketball records or they make bourbon whiskey or produce Corvettes in Bowling Green.

Even more laughable is the inability of the Kentucky populace at large to see common sense signs and warnings about their state including their increasing fiscal problems due to people taking so many pensions at young ages and not contributing to their pension system. Not to mention the fiscal problems of a state that so disdains education which keeps it in the Stone Ages as states go for their educational systems even in comparison especially with its Northern neighbors. Even more laughable is that Kentucky wonders why its so chronically poor and impoverished in so many areas yet continues to do the same things that it has been doing for decades and not investing in education and job training to get its citizens out of the financial and educational disadvantages that it has long endured.

Kentuckians live in a time warp as it goes for the United States in that they are probably as a society 20 years behind most anywhere else economically or socially. Instead of playing catch-up and working towards a brighter future economically and educationally, they are still behind the times in trying to better the mass majority of their citizens. All the while spending not much less than their northern neighbors of Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana regarding school spending. Yet they don't even come close to the economic and educational successes of the Northern states much less the educational outputs and educational results of the states of the Northern plains or the Northeastern states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and so forth. All of those states mentioned overall have better public education systems than do Kentucky even though they also have large numbers of citizens in urban areas where educational outcomes are often lacking.

However, Kentucky takes it to the max when it comes to not producing educational outcomes being 47th in the country in educational achievement only ahead of the most impoverished states of Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, etc. Not only is Kentucky 47th in educational achievement, its university system despite adequate funding is behind the times and of low quality and low results. Most young Kentuckians who desire and can do so flee to other states where the economic realities better fit their educational level and jobs are more readily available in their degree fields or at least a comparable degree field that would fit their skill level. Even the state institutions of Kentucky such as the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky both rank in the mid 130s as public universities in regular rankings of U.S. News and World Report. U of L as in the University of Louisville ranks 165th and has ranked between 160th and 175th in most of the last decade. The state flagship school UK also known as the University of Kentucky ranks 133rd out of the school in the latest U.S. News and World Report and has been in the 130s to 140s range for most of the last decade. This despite U of L being one of the best funded and financially endowed schools in the country that U of L doesn't even rank as a major university when it comes to programs in the sciences, law, business, etc. U of L doesn't even sniff the top 100 universities in any of those fields which speaks volumes about the commuter college at the Belknap campus.

Furthermore, Kentucky regularly continues to cut the budget for education systems including university and K-12 education despite the fact that it is regularly listed as one of the dumbest states by performance metrics. Kentucky regularly ranks in the 40s of the 50 states when it comes to public instruction and education despite spending over $10,000 dollars per student in Kentucky which is a state of 4.4 million with 159 different school systems.

Even more alarming is the fact that in Kentucky, the kids are being socially promoted because of the poor education system that way the graduation rates and drop out rates wouldn't be so pronounced. Same with the fact that 12th grade level proficiency, only 38 percent of Kentucky students can pass science and technology exams with proficiency for their grade level. Even in reading, the average Kentucky student only grades approximately 55 percent of them being able to read and write at grade level proficiency for a high school senior. Mathematics is no better in Kentucky as well under 50 percent are proficient at 12th grade level mathematics.

Which is why countless Kentucky seniors who go into college have to take remedial classes before they can progress to other fields and disciplines because their base level education is so low that they have to take remedial classes.

Here is a news story about the sad state of Kentucky education from a Paducah, KY TV Station

http://www.wpsdlocal6.com/2017/09/28/ky-students-graduate-achievement-gaps-persist/

Here are others as well.

The laughable thing is that Kentuckians are largely clueless about how bad their state really scores on education. Much less their economic poverty issues, low wages, lack of job creation, etc. More to come soon.

Oh and for the Kentuckians that hate my posts, there are plenty more to come so you can really get mad and blow your top and insult me via your email because I have to just laugh at your stupidity. Someday you'll get it and learn to be a bit smarter but it might take a lot of pain and a couple of generations to get the idiots weeded out of the system.White Trash Kentucky

Education: Where Kentucky Continually Misses the Mark and Results in Poverty

White Trash Kentucky https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/politics/2017/11/14/quarter-kentucky-kids-living-poverty-survey-shows/859308001/

Despite the fact that Kentucky ranks very low on educational efforts including educational achievement and quality education, Kentucky tries to claim that 88 percent of its students graduate high school. Even though its pretty obvious that there is plenty of social promotion and grade padding as evidenced by the results over the years. Especially when Kentucky ranks so lowly in college readiness and having people graduate from High School and being able to properly read and write and mathematics proficiency.

Feeding The Kentucky Trolls

White Trash Kentucky White Trash Kentucky One thing that I've never understood about Kentuckians at large is their ability to totally be oblivious to the garbage that their state truly is. Not to mention the fact that they are some of the most easily offended people in all of America. They get more upset over the smallest comments about their state. Instead of actually working hard to improve their state and quality of life, they either have to compare it to somewhere else in the United States that happens to have worse problems than they. In addition, they also have the thinnest skin and get the most upset because their state continually ends up being one of the worst states in the United States.

This despite the facts that on the Northern boundaries of Kentucky are Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana with Missouri to the west. So they don't have any real excuses for the fact that their state government and social systems have regularly been noted as being the worst run state in the United States. Not to mention that from 1939 to 2017, they have never went above 44th place in the 50 states in per capita personal income. NOT EVEN ONCE!
The laughable thing is that they are far enough north to never have really been a major part of the Confederate States of America and all of the issues spawned in the 152 years since the Confederacy was defeated by the Union forces. Instead of emulating their northern brothers in Ohio, Indiana, Illnois and even Missouri, they continue to be a lighter version of poverty stricken states like Arkansas, Mississippi, and West Virginia.

As one might expect, I get my fair share of hate mail from Kentucky residents. Which I don't know always how to react to either with scorn and derision or pity that these people many of whom simply don't know any better. I've stated this hundreds of times over the years when I both lived in Kentucky and outside of the state and its that there are good and decent Kentuckians but the mouth breathers seem to hold sway in the state. In that I've spent time in Kentucky during the 1990s, 2000s, and it hasn't changed that much over the years. I moved to Kentucky many years ago with no preconceived notions about Kentuckians and their society at large. However, I've been less than impressed when I've seen the type of society that Kentucky has continually devolved in over the years as in it seems to be going from bad to worse.

Not just in income and poverty statistics, but in the overall well being of said citizens of Kentucky. Yet when confronted with these painful statistics and truths, they suddenly become often enraged to the point of wanting to commit violence and criminal actions. Instead of logically and rationally explaining what they are doing to rectify the situation, most Kentuckians start by cussing their critics out or some other idiotic behavior. Rather than bucking up and fixing their problems, they choose to ignore what kind of a rotten place they actually live in. Then they'll in many cases start cussing someone out or talking about Detroit and its problems all the while Kentucky has more in common with Detroit or problem areas such as the South Side of Chicago income and poverty wise along with education.

So in essence, I get all kinds of nasty comments from Kentucky trolls and have for years so by this point it simply doesn't bother me. Maybe some of them I have truly asked for with my opinion of the average Kentuckian and their way of life. It seems as if their only real source of pride is either of their basketball programs at the collegiate level being the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville. Outside of that, there isn't much else to be proud of outside of bourbon production, some cars made in Kentucky, etc.

I suppose I could be easier on people from Kentucky but their often uneducated and idiotic responses are why I like to poke them with a stick and watch them get all kinds of upset regarding their plight. In which, they don't really have much in the way of rebuttals or explanations of why their state is overall a stinking fetid hole in the ground. Am I angry about it, no not really other than I am amazed at the level of ignorance and stupidity that many of the common people in that state exhibit on the everyday basis.

Anyway, I know this will get me the usual rants and complaints from Kentuckians along with the usual, I'll kick your ass comments because they can't say or prove or refute anything that I have really pointed out. Instead of focusing on their progress and achievements, overall they end up getting defensive about someone simply pointing out that lack of sense that exists in Kentucky.White Trash Kentucky

Kentucky: An Educational Dumpster Fire

White Trash Kentucky White Trash Kentucky One thing about the average Kentuckian is that they're not very bright despite what they want to tell you. These two lovely responses below are more evidence that the Kentucky educational system puts out generations of dummies, malcontents, morons, and people that are incapable of spelling even the most basic and rudimentary words. More evidence is listed below by a couple of rants by our resident dumbasses. This is also in evidence by other comments from Kentucky posters listed here and here

No, I can't make this up and minus names which have been redacted its 100 percent what I have actually received from Kentuckians.

It's quite funny that these people talk about those bashing Kentucky but the truth of it is that Kentucky deserves every bit of the bashing that it gets as an uneducated moron infested state.

Idiot number one below has a problem spelling the words of "likely" and spelling it as "likley" which sounds like "lickley" or maybe that was what he was doing to his sister in the outhouse this morning. The second mistake our resident flagging genius made was not being able to note the difference between the words "forth" and "fourth" which have two different means as well as two different spellings.

Next in our Kentucky dumbass registry.

Idiot poster number two sounds as if he or she has never left Pumpkin Patch, Kentucky in their entire life and barely learned 3rd grade English at the Kentucky country fried school. This posting is totally rich in their stupidity which shines brightly on a very dim state both educationally and intelligence wise. What I love is that its chock full of spelling errors not to mention the obvious stupidity of the poster. Running your state down is easy because when dumbasses like you post you show how bad the education system is.

Again another poster that doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're. I love it when some backwoods derelict thinks he knows where I'm from or who I am. I've never been in doubt of any of that which is laughable how stupid that backwoods morons from Kentucky think. Using "where" instead of "were" might help to as in where your family worked.

Big deal that Kentucky supposedly feeds the world. So do the other 50 states and the other 191 countries in the world. Nothing to be overly proud of. By the way, I grew up on a farm and we weren't backwoods morons like yourself so that's no excuse for being a grade A All American Idiot.

I can easily say the same about knowing where I'm from and I can spell, write, create, work on vehicles, teach, and instruct myself to do just about anything including my own medical care. Typical of a Kentuckian that they have nothing more than their pitiful little lives to brag about where they are from and who they are. As if anyone else really gives a shit.

This below is why Kentuckians are seen as morons by the rest of the nation.

Idiot #1

This guy is damaged goods. Never respond to his post.

You might think it is funny to go back and fourth with him, it could in fact put his child in danger

After being angry with another poster he could and most likley will ....from what i have seen of his posts.... harm his child to get back at other posters.

We all know how unstable and moronic he sounds, so be better then him and use restraint. That is something he does not possess. It might save his child from harm.

Be the better person

My comment "Yawn, that's the best you could do is bring my child into it. Another Kentuckian loser"
